I began teaching at GCS in 2019 in the preschool room, after about 8 years of teaching Early Childhood in Washington state. I moved to the primary grades & am currently in my 3rd year of teaching 2nd grade.

Why did I choose Georgetown Community School?

I love that it's a small, community focused school. The families are wonderful & the staff is irreplaceable.

If the students could learn one thing, what would it be?

To advocate for themselves.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up, and why?

A ballerina. The outfits were pretty cool.
