When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up, and why?

When I was a child, I wanted to be a veterinarian. I always loved animals but was very sensitive when one would die. I worked for multiple years as a receptionist at a small animal clinic, and when there was an animal that would pass away, I would cry. I thought that as time passed, it would be easier, but instead it got harder. I decided I did not want to spend my career and life crying, so I choose a different path. However, I continue to love animals. We have 3 dogs in our home.
