BIO

I am a Clear Creek native.  I grew up in Silver Plume and went to Georgetown Community School.   I recently graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelors in Theatre with a Minor in Dance; both performance and visual art have been a primary part of my life. I am so excited to share this with the students.

Why did I choose Georgetown Community School?

I choose Georgetown Community School because I wanted to have an opportunity to give back to the community and school that raised me and made me who I am today.

If the students could learn one thing, what would it be?

“If facts are the seeds that later produce knowledge and wisdom, then emotions and the impressions of the senses are the fertile soil in which the seeds must grow.”

~Rachel Carson

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up, and why?

When I was a child, I went through many phases; I wanted to be a teacher, dancer, painter, actress, and a Disney princess. I wanted to be part of all these professions because I would meet different people with a variety of different jobs, and they all inspired me.
