End of the school year car parade for all the students and families of GCS!!!
Thursday, May 21st at 4pm!
Teachers and staff of GCS will be participating in a car parade through Georgetown!!
As a staff , we want to celebrate and acknowledge the end of the 2019-2020 school year with a small celebration in the form of a car parade!
The parade will begin at the Georgetown Loop Railroad parking lot and continue down Loop Dr. It will then go down 6th street to Taos street. The parade will take a left down Taos to go past Foster’s Place Park. The parade will end right after the park, and teachers will disperse afterwards. The teacher cars will be decorated, blasting music, and celebrating our fantastic community and school.
Please join us on 6th street or at the park to see your favorite teachers drive by in their cars!
*Please note it is important to maintain social distancing during this event. Stay at least 6ft apart, spread out on street and at the park as much as possible, and wear masks and gloves for the event.
If you are feeling ill in any way, please stay home.
