Marsha Williams

I am married with two grown children and a spunky rescue dog. All of my jobs have involved health sciences. Besides being a nurse, I have worked in a hospital lab and taught health science to various grade levels.

Why did I choose Georgetown Community School?

A parent at GCS who knew that the school needed a nurse suggested that I check out the opportunity, I am glad that I did.

If the Students could learn one thing, what would it be?

Be as kind to others as you possibly can be. You never know everything that others are going through. Your kindness can make a real difference to them.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up, and why?

I wanted to be a physical therapist. A woman that I respected was a physical therapist and I could picture myself in that role. It seemed like a never-ending way to apply health sciences.
