Georgetown Community School is a charter school tucked away in the beautiful mountains of historic Georgetown, Colorado. We are the only charter school option in the greater Clear Creek School District. We offer an innovative education by providing toddler and pre-kindergarten programming, free full-day kindergarten, physical education every day, weekly music and art classes, and a stepping out program to learn about the outdoors and local history. In K–6, we have flexible classroom settings, and we work off of the Core Knowledge curriculum for science and social studies, Everyday Mathematics, Into Reading, and Handwriting Without Tears. We also incorporate philosophies and educational opportunities based on experiential learning. Our small class sizes provide one-on-one individualized learning for students, with a focus on the whole child.

Children enrolled in our toddler and pre-K classes are introduced to hands-on learning and early literacy and math curriculum aligned with kindergarten readiness expectations. We utilize individualized plans to facilitate growth and learning and serve students ages 18 months and up. Tuition assistance is available and is based on financial need.
