GCS Board of Directors Special Election

The Georgetown Community School Board will be holding a Special Election this September to fill a vacancy due to the resignation of a member who moved out of state. The term for this one seat up for election will expire in the spring of 2024. Click the links within this post to view the official Election Timeline as adopted by the Election Committee, as well as our first flyer announcing the Special Election. Interested candidates should submit a one-page file containing a photo (optional), along with a bio and platform statement by August 28 to [email protected]. All staff members and parents of enrolled students will automatically receive an electronic ballot, provided that they are employed/enrolled a minimum of three weeks before the election date of 9/7/22 – this means BEFORE 8/17/22.
